Incognito Wraps, Las Vegas
Incognito Wraps is the premier Las Vegas vinyl wrapping company that aims to take your vehicle to the extreme. The shop is entering its 4th year in business, but the team members have about 30 years of combined experience in the field. Since most people that live in the area weren’t born there (in fact only one member on the Incognito team is actually from Las Vegas), the team gets to meet a ton of different people with different tastes and personal styles. This keeps their job fun and interesting. One team member, Joe, said that Las Vegas “has a different pace than most of the west coast cities close by. Things can move at a slower rate than, say, L.A. That type of mentality enables us to take our time with these cars and make them perfect for our customers, so we ensure every car that leaves our building will receive the glowing reception that we talked about before. Even though this city is relatively young, there’s a growing community of beautiful cars for us to wrap as well. We are fortunate enough to have Alfa Romeo, Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, Maserati, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Jaguar, Bentley, Porsche and many other dealerships within 30 minutes of each other.”
Last year, the team wrapped a Maserati Ghibli in ORACAL 970RA Turquoise Lavender Shift Effect and it’s been on our minds ever since. We contacted the shop with a few questions about the project and working with ORAFOL materials.
What was your team’s favorite part about this project?
Our favorite part of any job is the customer’s reaction when they receive their car. The Maserati was white to begin with and the owner was looking for something different and loved the purple tones that went along with this film. However, seeing it on a roll on the wall and seeing it across the beautiful contours of this car are two different things entirely. He absolutely lit up when we rolled up the back door to reveal his car. That always gives us the warmest feeling.
What is your experience with ORAFOL and how have you seen it change over the years?
Throughout the years we had used ORAFOL here and there for different print jobs, but it had never been our go-to-film. A while back we were approached by ORAFOL and Lexus of Henderson to do a car with their films and from our past experiences that made us a little nervous. We were very frank with our feelings about how the film used to be. We were so pleasantly surprised when we got our first test sample. Not only did it go down easy, but the finish is one of the most like paint among all the major vinyl manufacturers! The finished product was so stunning that we haven’t looked back.
